2002-01-06 13:28:00 Why are people submiting a post so many times, is it because they are impatient when clicking the 'Post' button and it does not go away instantly. Guest (0)
2002-01-06 15:28:00 Its one of the sporadic problems this marvellous service has. It has been brought to robos attention. Luckily it doesnt happen that often. Guest (0)
2002-01-06 21:19:00 It is because when people click POST nothing *seems* to happen, and so after a while they click it again.

However when POST is clicked, the new message is almost always sent immediately, and really the thing that's not happening is just the reloading of the page - the PC sends the info straight away to the server, but the server doesn't always reply with a reload of the page as soon as it gets the new message. People ARE getting better at it, but there are some new people who don't know that it happens, so we put up with it.

2002-01-07 06:17:00 I've noticed that some duplicated post are several minutes apart. Could this be from clicking 'back' too many times whilst moving around the website and inadvertly re-submitting your post?
