| 30007 | 2002-01-06 07:05:00 | Have had the remnants of a couple of old 16 bit programs showing up at boot: starting with C:\>Rem T Shoot? sounds like something in the registery? Have used a registery cleaner and had a look around in there but cant find anything? Any ideas would be much appreciated regards, Simon |

| 30009 | 2002-01-06 08:51:00 | I would say that anything starting with Rem that shows on boot up will be in the config.sys or autoexec.bat. Open with wordpad (you will need to change the 'file of type'to 'All documents(*,*)') and you can safely delete any line begining with Rem. That means it has been disabled and if your system has been working OK the line is not necessary any more. DW |
