| 30248 | 2002-01-08 06:37:00 | WinXP Pro will not autorun any of my cds anymore, it was autorunning them few days ago but it has now stopped. Also I changed my kids account from Computer Admin acess to Limited Access and they cannot access the cd drive at all, while i am told they still should be able to access it even with Limited Acess. I have a Acer 12x8x32x Cd Writer. |

Right click My Computer, select the hardware tab, select Device manager, scroll down till you find DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES, expand it and right click on your CD Rom, select properties then properties again and UNTICK 'Enable digital CD audio for this CD Rom Device' Hope it works if not post back and we will try another one. You may have to be logged on as administrator. BC |
