| 30208 | 2002-01-07 22:06:00 | Hi My computer has developed this annoying clicking, not loud but in the back ground. I had a new 40GB harddrive put in last year and it has been fine. Has any one had this problem and can help. Thankyou. | Guest (0) | ||
| 30209 | 2002-01-08 02:53:00 | Hi, I had this problem under windows millenium. Somehow 'click' had been assigned as a sound event for everytime a certain event happened. I think the sound was named 'START.WAV' but I am not sure. To find out, click on Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Multimedia. Individually select each line which has a speaker symbol beside it and click on the play symbol. When you get to the one which makes the click you hear, assign that event to a different sound, or to none. Problem solved! G P |

| 30211 | 2002-01-09 03:09:00 | It is possible to set up to get a click each time a key is pressed. This may be in the 'Accessability' area. Try looking in Help for 'keyclick'. | Guest (0) | ||
