30200 2002-01-07 18:14:00 I recently purchased a cordless mouse and after having great problems with having to put new batteries in every 5 minutes I replaced them with rechargable batteries and solved that problem. However now I find that the left mouse button has given up the ghost. Is it worth tsking it back and trying out the warranty -if it there is one- or should I cut my loses and go back to a $20.00 corded mouse and throw them away when they stuff up? Guest (0)
30201 2002-01-07 18:40:00 Percy I can sympathise,
I too bought a Microsoft cordless mouse, (actually used my telecom points).

Chewed through battries like nobody's business.

The best mouse I have found, is also the cheapest.

A BTC wheeled mouse, $10.00, so good in fact I have never had to clean it, and shows no sign of wear after a year.

I have put friends and family onto these, with no problems what so ever.

30202 2002-01-07 20:35:00 I am using a MS cordless mouse now. I got it with Flyby points at Noel Leeming. The first one was hopeless with the pointer going everywhere so I took it back. No problems changing it, and the new one goes for two to three months between battery changes. Guest (0)

I use an A4Tech wireless mouse, from Dick Smith $46.00 (down from $57 I think) I haven't had it long enough to see how long the batteries last but after 3 weeks the mouse monitor (you can check RF status and Battery power) still shows 100% power.

The mouse is smooth, accurate and works well so far.

30204 2002-01-08 04:26:00 Logitech Cordless Mouse (and keyboard) here.

No problems, batteries need changing about every 5-6 months on the mouse and less often on the keyboard.
