| 30290 | 2002-01-08 08:59:00 | I installed and tried to run Reader Rabbit's Reading 1 (for my daughter) but was unsuccessful. Error message:'You do not have enough disk space to run this program. Free up more disk space and try again.' I checked and physically have 16 GB of free disk space available. What is all this about? All my other programs run well without any problem. Can any one explain? Cheers Alex |

Is it new program or old one? Could it be struggling with your version of OS or disk format? Can't see how, but it's possible. robo. |

| 30292 | 2002-01-08 09:55:00 | It is an old piece software; it's for Win95 and I'm now running Win2000. I think it's compatibility problem. Is there a way to get round it? Cheers Alex |

Perhaps it needs to be installed or copied to C drive first (who knows, this might actually happen... just a suggestion) | Guest (0) | ||
| 30294 | 2002-01-08 22:35:00 | Just a suggestion, but if it is a Win9x application running on Win2000 could it be having difficulty reading NTFS partitions? | Guest (0) | ||
| 30295 | 2002-01-09 01:31:00 | Maybe it was trying to install it on the CD. Copy the CD directory to your desktop and try installing from that copy. | Guest (0) | ||

| 30297 | 2002-01-09 04:41:00 | Didn't W95 have a maximum partition size of 2GB? That could be a problem (negative size?) if a programme uses a 32bit integer to check free sspace of 16GB. | Guest (0) | ||
