| 30572 | 2002-01-10 03:12:00 | Hi there, I am using PHP 4 for windows with apache and when I try to start a session I get this error or continue a session I get this error: Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (\) in Unknown on line 0 It dosnt change to whatever I set the session.save_path to (thats what they say at php.faqts.com) Thanks for your help. |

| 30573 | 2002-01-13 02:06:00 | Hi There, I have noted that no one is offering any help on your problem so I thought I would have a go even though I have no idea what PHP is or does. I entered 'session.save_path' in a Google web search and found a site called Firepages in Australia in which a number of people were discussing a problem very much like you describe. The final entry suggested that if you copy the file php.ini into C:\Windows the problem goes away so I thought I would pass that on to you. Hope it helps, regards PC |
