I've been looking for a while now for a utility that will do what most terminal emulation packages can do, and that is to cut and paste several items using ONLY the keyboard. In other words: copy, copy, copy, copy ... paste, paste, paste, paste. You have your normal key for copy to clipboard, and another short key for copy-append. You have your normal key for paste, and another short key for paste-next, which simply cycles through the items you copied in the same order. No pop-up lists or choosing items with a mouse. If you go too fast and go past the one you want it should loop round to the first one (i.e. you keep pasting in the same spot till you get what you want. Anybody know of a utility that does this? |
