| 30492 | 2002-01-09 20:05:00 | hi, I'm just about to buy either Ricoh MP7200A/MP7240A/MP7320A CD-ReWriter. But would like some advise first on how to set up these drives. In terms of installing the drive do I just take out the cover, put it in the slot, find a spare power cable from the computer's main power box, connect the ide cable (incl. choosing for it to go as master etc.), and connect the audio cable if I want it (but doesn't have to does it?) Then install the drivers. Is that all? Hope so ;-) Many thanks, |

| 30494 | 2002-01-09 20:57:00 | They don't ship with drivers. They expect you to have an operating system that has them built in. Else you may have to download them from their website. And yes the method of installing it is basic... what about safety precautions? |
