1288226 2012-07-13 06:32:00 For the last day or so, I have been having problems viewing Amazon. Every time I visit the page is all over the place. I am using Firefox. Anybody know why I am having this problem.

1288227 2012-07-13 06:58:00 This site depends on Java Script to function. Recently there was a faulty Java update. I suggest you remove your Java and re install it. First of all ensure that 'Java script' is enabled in your Browser. mzee (3324)
1288228 2012-07-13 07:19:00 I have removed the old Java and reinstalled the new version. Still same problem however. QW. (15883)
1288229 2012-07-13 07:56:00 Have you cleared out your temporary internet files? Also trying using CRTL-R to refresh the homepage. Jen (38)
1288230 2012-07-13 08:31:00 What browser are you using (IE by the looks?) and does the issue occur on other browsers? inphinity (7274)
1288231 2012-07-13 08:51:00 This site depends on Java Script to function. Recently there was a faulty Java update. I suggest you remove your Java and re install it. First of all ensure that 'Java script' is enabled in your Browser.Java and Javascript are two entirely different things, and are not related. The problem in the OP's post is not caused by a problem with Java, and as such reinstalling it will not help the situation.

Edit: I can also confirm that the Amazon site functions fine without javascript, although it's definitely not as good. My primary suspicion at this point would be that one or more stylesheets have not properly loaded - if that's the case, a hard-refresh should help.

QW. - Give Jen's suggestion a try and let us know how you go - it's a good starting point.

1288232 2012-07-14 00:47:00 Well I have tried everything that has been suggested and still get the same problem. I removed the K9 Web protection software that I use and the page returns to normal. But that leaves me without any content filtering. The browser I am using is Firefox. Tried it in Internet explorer and downloaded and installed Safari to see if would show and it did. QW. (15883)
1288233 2012-07-14 01:18:00 If removing K9 fixed it, then either K9 or its settings is the problem.

Unfortunately I'm not much use for helping with that, as it's not a piece of software I have used before. Hopefully someone else here is familiar with it and can assist.

1288234 2012-07-14 01:51:00 I will have to find another free content filtering program. Least I can access Amazon now. QW. (15883)
