1287430 2012-07-10 04:21:00 Trying to watch YT vids, laptop and PC, latest version of flash, firefox. Videos crash n burn a short while into them and loops back to the start, not going beyond until the page is refreshed. It's incredibly annoying.

Suggestions?

1287431 2012-07-10 06:07:00 Is flash 11.3.300.262 installed? The previous version for FF was buggy and did crash (especially with FF). When you quit FF and when you used sites like YT. Altho that version <- isnt really any better with FF. Its crashed once with me Speedy Gonzales (78)
1287432 2012-07-10 07:17:00 I've had numerous updates to FF, Flash and graphics drivers over recent months with NONE of them resolving the unstable Flash plugin.

Am SOOO looking forward to Flash becoming history.

Maybe try (wash mouth with soap :dogeye: ) Internet Explorer and see if they play together any better.

Sounds like the download timed out or stopped for some other reason

Suggest you use a Firefox plugin like netvideohunter or such to download the files and watch them in VLC .

1287435 2012-07-10 08:53:00 just updated to the latest. We shall see what happens now.
Checked a couple days ago, wasn't aware it had been updated.
Cheers all.

Still hate flash. Best thing to come out of the damn thing is cartoons like MLP, which is done in flash 8.

Not all videos are available with HTML5.

I've had no problems with flash for a long time if that helps :D Using SeaMonkey 2.10 & Flash 11.2 at the mo'.

1287438 2012-07-10 22:11:00 It was only FF that was affected with the older version of flash. Something to do with protected mode. There was a workaround for it. But it was pointless. Adobe had to update it, because a lot people posted on FB. Saying it kept crashing. Because most of them play the games on FB (except me). And their games were crashing constantly Speedy Gonzales (78)

But the ones that are, are the ones without advertising, so just ignore the rest
