1264696 2012-03-13 06:14:00 I noticed that TelstraClear are only charging ADSL customers $2/GB for data, while they charge customers on their cable network $2.95/GB, for excess data.

This doesn't sit quite right with me...

1264698 2012-03-13 09:18:00 Yeah it's pretty nasty. What's worse is Maxnet I think are $10 for each 2GB over your limit... Chilling_Silence (9)
1264699 2012-03-13 18:34:00 Yes - the simple solution :)

It just seems a bit odd that they charge customers on their own network more than they charge customers on a network that they resell, for exactly the same product.

A lot will depend on what plan you are on as I'm on ADSL and I pay $2.95.

1264701 2012-03-13 22:58:00 Well they used bump on another pack of whatever plan you were on. So if you went over you'd get stung $30 for another 25gb. It's near impossible to use your full data block - their traffic meter is unreliable and I think it switches over at either 11pm or 1am at the end of your cycle. I'd prefer to be throttled (oh er!) with the option of adding more data on. Renegade (16270)
