1264269 2012-03-11 05:48:00 A gimmick that makes money.

From an end user perspective, hell no.

The concept of an off site backup is a fine idea, storing all your data elsewhere and accessing it over an internet connection every time you open a file is madness. If I didn't have enough local storage...I'd just buy some, its not only cheap but far more practical.

1264270 2012-03-11 05:52:00 It's like having your own exchange server in some regards, so as far as that goes, yes I find it useful. Alex B (15479)
1264271 2012-03-11 05:54:00 it was free, but unless you have multiple devices it is not much use unless you are going to use it for back up. Although I am considering iTunes match, so I can upgrade some of the crappy rips with some half decent ones plod (107)
1264272 2012-03-11 06:00:00 iTunes match, giving you high quality mp3's to replace your crappy pirated ones since 2011. How do they get around that anyway? icow (15313)
1264273 2012-03-11 06:00:00 Yeah I have used iTunes Match for that, it's brilliant. Alex B (15479)
1264274 2012-03-11 06:11:00 iTunes match, giving you high quality mp3's to replace your crappy pirated ones since 2011. How do they get around that anyway?Their pay the record companies. plod (107)
1264275 2012-03-11 06:17:00 My reference to cost was due to pointless use of bandwidth. Metla (12)
1264276 2012-03-11 06:24:00 Yes bandwidth is an issue.
Edit.... How are you finding android? I would say if you are using android to its potential that would be a bandwidth hog
