| 1263999 | 2012-03-09 23:27:00 | Interesting creatures though. I have some friends with a property adjoining Churchill Park in Glendowie. The boundary is a stream, and many decades on from their removing all kinds of unbelievable items of an estimated 30 tonnes of landfill, the stream now runs clear - and boasts a sizeable eel population. They (the eels, not my friends) are quite tame and gregarious and can be lifted out of the water, quite happily.
