1263761 2012-03-08 04:58:00 My emails are not getting to Xtra customers. They are coming back to me. A part from all the ISP numbers etc it basicly says, temporarily
deferred due to user complaints. I rung one of the people up whom I sent an email to and asked if they had complained about my emails and they said no. They had not recieved my emails.

1263764 2012-03-08 19:50:00 a few things .

Its no longer 'xtra' email . All xtra emails are hosted by yahoo Australia . Xtra have little control over Yahoo mail & dont seem to care . Yahoo will care even less .
Xtra sold/gave all the xtra email a/c's to Yahoo years back . Its like your ISP telling you to use hotmail for email . :yuck:
xtra/yahoo email system is notoriously unreliable (Im with xtra)
xtra/yahoo may be blocking all mail from your ISP due to a complaint about another of that ISP's customers, not necessarily you .

Expect intermittent Ongoing issues sending to xtra email address, (its usually Yahoo's stupid spam filter)
Good luck . Dont expect this to be resolved quickly .

1263765 2012-03-08 19:54:00 One other thing, if you are sending out bulk emails,or have a virus infected PC sending out spam without your knowledge (it happens) then you may have been blacklisted.
Less likely, but check some of the blacklist sites to see if you are in there

1263766 2012-03-08 19:55:00 Email from my ISP.
That message is a temporary warning. This usually happens when too many messages are being sent from one sender and Xtra are restricting the flow to their customers. The error message points out quite a few times that this is a temporary message and the server will keep retrying for 5 days. This is something that is happening on Xtra's end and we unfortunately have no control over. There is very little that you can do other than wait for it. Usually once the queue is cleared on their end, the new messages are allowed to go through at a certain rate of messages per hour.

I'm not too worried about it. The reason for my post was to notify Xtra users of the problem and wandering why emails were taking along time to get to them.
