I recently formatted the hard drive, which involved copying all my previous hard drive onto a friends hard drive, formatting my hard drive, and then reinstalling the files I wanted. Since reinstalling Internet Explorer browser (version 5.5, although I have since tried version 5.1)I have a total freeze (which requires restart )whenever I begin to type in a web address. When typing a web address I get as far as www before the freeze strikes ! This has happened many many times, and nothing I have so far tried has fixed it. Any ideas. Thanks. |
