Everytime i pick up thephone, my connection drops. the phone has the filter in it since i opted for the conenction only option i have an dynalink internal pci modem neideas as to y i cant use the phone and jetstart @ same time?! |

| 30765 | 2002-01-11 09:02:00 | Couple of questions/suggestions: 1. is the phone plugged into a separate physical jackpoint from the adsl modem? 2. have you tried another telephone? 3. I had some weird things happen when I put a double adaptor for the phone that stops the other phone from being picked up. Lost caller id. Any of these help? robo |

| 30767 | 2002-01-11 10:38:00 | What sort of filter have you got.It may be faulty.To be honest,I would ditch those inline filters and get one of the proper ones that Telecom uses.I work for Telecom fixing ADSL faults,and I have replaced plenty of those inline ones with the proper ones and they always work better and have far less problems with it wired up properly.Not sure where to get them though,sorry.
