| 30760 | 2002-01-11 07:58:00 | I have over 3000 invoices from probably 60 or so suppliers, listed vertically, with the suppliers Name, Inv #, and amount concerned etc... I would like to get a summary where I can view how much we spent with every individual supplier on that list. I accidently managed to achieve this task using XL, but am unable to repeat it when I need it - now. Have both XL95 & 97. Cheers......John jhw@xtra.co.nz |

| 30761 | 2002-01-13 10:28:00 | The function SUMIF can give you a total of all numbers in one column which correspond to a particular name in another column. Search for SUMIF under HELP. If you get stuck, repost. |
