| 30689 | 2002-01-10 22:08:00 | It looks like Outlook Express has reset itself, as they do. When I press an underlined link to a website, the browser (IE5) appears and stays blank, so there's no connection to the site. I'm sure this must be simple to remedy. Any suggestions please? Also,if I want to use OE when I'm surfing, the connection cuts off and needs reconnecting - irritating! | Guest (0) | ||

| 30691 | 2002-01-16 12:19:00 | Hi George, In Outlook Express do as Heather suggested, then right click your IE icon on the desktop, and select properties. Go into the connections tab and highlight your connection. Ensure that always dial my default connection is selected in the panel below. With your connection highlighted then go into the properties and advanced tab buttons for the particular connection, and look for auto disconnect, set this to disabled, and it should cure your problems |
