30800	2002-01-11 23:28:00	my brother (lets call him 'mr download every programme I can find and try it out regardless')has once again killed his computer with another virus. Trying out his new burner, he even backed up all his progs, as well as the infected one, and reformated & reloaded the virus. It took pc cillan to pick up the virus, whilst my up to date Nortons would not. I can't even find it on the sarc web site. My questions are, has anyone else experienced this virus? Why won't nortons pick this up? What exactly does this trojan do? cheers badabing	Guest (0)

30803	2002-01-12 00:12:00	Well I cant find much info about the trojan apart from the fact that it connects through port 2801. If you have a ifrewall then block this port off through that and then go to this site www.anti-trojan.org These guys are brilliant and you can email root...thats his nic and he'll explain all. also check out their downloads section and you will find a nice little collection of anti trojan software.
