| 30899 | 2002-01-12 06:15:00 | Can anyone tell me if there is a problem in downloading from the Windows Update Site? No problem accessing the site, selecting the updates, gets right through to the download box showing time/data left to download but just sits there showing 0kb downloaded, after a minute or so, download box and error message, 'Installation Failed as File could not be found'. Have tried 3 different computers, all the same. Has been like this most of the afternoon, anyone else also having problems or not? Cheers all. |

| 30905 | 2002-01-13 02:36:00 | Sure I frequent this site, as do many of my staff. How else do you think we'd know how to fix the problems in Windows - we learn it off you guys. Bill PS If anybody needs a loan... |

| 30906 | 2002-01-13 06:17:00 | I had the same problem last year but got brilliant clear help from Microsoft. It is their site so it is their problem. I sent an email to feedback@mms.co.nz. They accepted it was a problem and transferred my query to msupport@microsoft.com. I received an email thanking me for contacting Microsoft Update Support. In that email was a 2 page, clear step by step, process to fix the problem. I printed this out so I could mark the steps off as I went through it I was given a case number, another email address that ensured I had the personal help from the same helper. It was brilliant help and cost nothi. Try it and good luck |
