| 30886 | 2002-01-12 04:10:00 | Hi Everyone, I have a problem with my Toshiba Portege 3480 running Windows 2000 Premium since I downloaded Service pack 2 for Win 2000. The problem started since the download of the update. When I launch IE (version 6 off the latest PC World CD) I can see it connect and tells me the connection speed however when clicking on any link from favourites or entering any URL I get an DNS error message and the address is: C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm When searching for this file I can find that there are 3 files: SHDOCLC.DLL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM shdoclc.dll C:\WINNT\ServicePackFiles\i386 shdoclc.dll C:\WINNT\system32 Can you shed any light on the problem? |
