I would be wary of international warranties though someone else might have had no problems. I got a sony digital camera from Singapore when I passed through last time, it came with a intl warranty but on arrival here about three days later a problem was found with the battery, after some tracking down, found the chch agent for sony and long story short, it was not covered by warranty. The intl warranty was not worth the paper it was on. I was lucky, I was in Singapore again within a month and I took the matter up with the shop, they were very nice about it and replaced it and threw in some extra's for my hassles. |
