| 30967 | 2002-01-13 00:16:00 | I do not think that directX can be uninstalled, or downgraded, unless you are running winME or XP and set a system restore point before you installed dX 8. If you didn't do this, the only other way that I know of to get rid of dX is to remove windows and reinstall it. Craig. |

The other program I found is DirectX Eradicator found at the following site. It removes every file installed by Direct X, trust me I've checked! (about 110 files in total) www.geocities.com |
