| 30868 | 2002-01-12 03:28:00 | My mobo has RAID controllers which I am using as IDE 3 and 4 with 2x 40GB hard drives. IDE 1 and 2 have my CD ROM drives on it. On my hard drive I have an unpartition/unformatted 20GB that I would like to use for RH but am unsure if it would be recognised in the installation due to them being on RAID. The RAID controllers are Highpoint 370. I have seen that they have linux drivers for these controllers and I think they are included in RH 7.2. |

Basically you should have the BIOS set up as 'No Hard Disks Installed', as for systems which boot from SCSI drives. HAve a go. It's not Windows -- at worst it will tell you 'You can't do that there 'ere'. |
