31201 2002-01-14 19:30:00 Does anyone know how to use this system to convert mp3 format to WAV. Once music is in this format can it be played on a conventional CD player. Guest (0)
31202 2002-01-14 20:09:00 Most new CDs can handle MP3 and I saw an advert for a car stereo saying they could handle them too. If you scout round the web there are numerous programs which will convert MP3 to wav. I believe that Audiocatalyst does it. Guest (0)
31203 2002-01-14 21:34:00 I don't know about WAV being the format on the CDs. A lot of people tell me that's what they use.

When I've converted MP3s and put them on CD they come out as CDA (CD Audio format). Maybe WAV files work. Never tried them.

31204 2002-01-14 22:30:00 wav. file is the format to use the files just end up being CDA (y'all have to ask someone else about that cause i don't know)

in winamp press Ctrl+P to bring up the options menu then go down to the outputs part and change the output to 'Nullsoft Disk Writer plugin' this should convert most audio formats to WAV files. If you double clisk on the plugin above it gives you move specific options like where to output the files when finished
