31166 2002-01-14 08:43:00 I have just installed software to run a HP scanner. On the CD there was also the software 'Adobe Photo Deluxe' to download which I did. That was my mistake. Now all my JPEG files open with 'Adobe Photo Deluxe' which is not what I want. I tried deleting the Adobe software but then I could not open any of the JPEG files at all so I had to reinstall the Adobe software again to view the files.
Can someone tell me how to delete the Adobe software so that I will be able to view the JPEG files again?
Thanks

31167 2002-01-14 09:06:00 Open My Computer, then View, Folder Options, File Types. Scroll down to jpeg and edit it. Guest (0)
31168 2002-01-14 09:20:00 George, Left click on one of your JPEG files. Hold the SHIFT button down and then right click on the file. Left click on 'Open with...' Select the program you want to open JPEG's. Check 'Always use this program.....' and click OK. Guest (0)
31169 2002-01-14 10:09:00 single right click one of the jpegs, select Open With, that will open a new box, might take a few seconds to think about it, scroll down the list to the program that you want to be the default opener and single click it, place a tick in the box, always open with this program, click ok and that should be it.
