31162 2002-01-14 07:16:00 Everytime I log on my computer which is networked. It forces my computer with the internet connection to dial. I believe it to be related to Windows Critical Update reading the log that my computer generates for connections and I want to disable the automatic updates.

I've searched most obvious places I could think of but I must have missed it somewhere.

How do I do it?

I've just installed ZA on it and blocked it from accessing the net. But now I have to configure ZA to allow programs that are allowed to access the net.

31164 2002-01-14 11:36:00 Is it not the 'windows critical update' in Add/remove programmes

31165 2002-01-15 08:57:00 No it's not in the Add/Remove.

XP was easier to disable because I just go into System Properties|Automatic Updates and then I just turn it off.

For Win2k I can't find the option to do it anywhere.
