| 31313 | 2002-01-15 08:05:00 | I've just built myself a new computer and decided to install Windows 2000 Pro on it. The specs are as follows Intel Celeron 2 900mhz (100mhz fsb), 384mb pc-133 sdram, 40gb maxtor hard drive (in 4 partitions) a realtek ethernet card and more. I install it and when it goes to boot up it takes about 2 minutes to get past the setup screen!. I've installed this on slower computers i've built and had no such trouble. I've tried formatting, re-installing twice but there is no change... any ideas? |
