| 31618 | 2002-01-17 09:41:00 | All of the .cab files on the disk will fit on a floppy (1.68mb). But to format your disks to hold 1.68mb you will need to either find a program that will do it, or diskcopy any existing ones you have. |

| 31619 | 2002-01-18 05:23:00 | It's probably not worth the MANY hassles. I've tried formatting for 1.68MB, and you then have to tell the sytem that the drive has that capacity. I didn't try diskcopy (I don't think it would work from a CD file to a device. If you can't temporarily install a Cd to the machine you want to install on, you could use the DOS file trasfer utility through the serial ports to copy the W95 directory to the new machine. If you are forced to use floppies, I would use standard floppies, and use pkzip the install directory in spanning mode. That even might not be any more floppies, and it would be a lot easier than messing with that bastard format. |
