2002-01-17 01:08:00 | Can anyone tell me the name of software that lets you use your computer to text to mobile phones. If so, where do you get it and does it work with telecom and vodaphone mobiles. | Guest (0) | |
2002-01-17 03:19:00 | there is a top quility site called http://www.mtnsms.com (be careful, because one letter missing could mean your into a porno site) Its so easy to use and allows you to text to anyone anywhere in the world FREE. all you do is sign up for a account with your email and a password only needed, and you're up and running. have fun text messaging!

2002-01-17 03:23:00 | There are so many out there but the 025 and 027 are not supported yet don't know about 029. I would list them all but doing a search for it on www.google.com will give you a list to pick from.

ICQ instant messager lets you send free text messages to vodafone mobiles with no limit on the no. of messages. The phone users can also reply back to you at you r computer by simply pressing reply on their phone. Unlike mtnsms you use the same number to send each time so your friends can save the number for future use and so they know who is texting. have fun G P |

2002-01-17 07:05:00 | try this: type a txt message and send to number: +6421010099, when the first word is email then message: such as, x@hotmail.com hello are r u today i am ok ....... This cost 20c. You can also do this: do the above with that special number. and when u check email u should get the email address then u can email to that address and it goes to cellphone. Such as, using cellphone number 021 -1234567. Ur email may say 64211234567@sms.vodafone.net.nz so use ur normal email and send it to this address. www.mtnsms.com tends to be slow like somedays are received 2 days later! You can also use ICQ but it uses same carrier .... so u still may get same delays. Other thing is just pay for sms sent, or register at www.vodafone.net.nz and u get a certain free sms from website to 021/029 phones only. Not avail to 025 and intl phones. People can email to ur voda email and u turn email notification on. So its free for them but you pay 20c to receive per email.

2002-01-17 12:34:00 | Hi Viv. I thoroughly recommend using ICQ. I use it at least once every day. Only works on Vodafone (025) so far. Messages are sent and received instantly (local) and costs nothing. Receiver can hit 'reply' on their phone and text back to your computer. Because you have the same number all the time, the receiver knows who sent the message. Try it.
