31662 2002-01-17 20:50:00 are there any instances where .confirm.to won't work? I have 2 friends that have windows 98 & it won't work for them. They both support HTML @ their Outlook Express versions are later than 4.0.
This is a fabulous page for Questions & Answers & I would like to thank everyone who has helped me out.

31663 2002-01-17 23:53:00 Please Pauline,

Forgive my ignorance but put me out of my misery. What is .confirm.to and what would you use it for?

31665 2002-01-18 01:52:00 Billy,
It is a read mail receipt. More info can be found in the Sept Internet Magazine in the On Your Side section but it didn't tell me what I wanted to know & neither did the website.

31666 2002-01-18 02:48:00 if your address would usually be billyt@anywhere.nz and I wanted to confirmation that you had received the message I would change your address to billyt@anywhere.nz.confirm.to and as soon as you open the message I stealth reply is sent back to me with time, date etc. It does not appear in your sent box and ZA does not appear to detect it either.
Would not be surprised if some of the spam companies are not using the same

31667 2002-01-18 22:38:00 hi Pauline,

whilst it is a conveinient service I would have serious concerns about sending every piece of e-mail through their system. The web site contains many basic spelling and gramatical errors, which doesn't reflect well on their level of professionalism either.

Regarding your problem, have you got enough 'credits' available?
