| 32055 | 2002-01-20 20:50:00 | my system is running win 2000, every now and then it makes a continuous beep and the power indicator flashes. this continues for a couple of minutes. Any ideas? thanks |

If it's when you start your computer, you have a hardware error, like a faulty videocard, powersupply etc. If this is in win2000 itself. It maybe because win2000 is trying to go into standby or hibernation mode but can't due to a conflict in the software or perherpials attached. In which case you should just disable the standby mode |
