32311 2002-01-22 04:38:00 My God !!!!! I just realised. The military probably uses Microsoft windows too....I'm off to build a shelter.
p.s. Now that I've followed the directions for fitting my garage door up to play music when I get home about tips on how to set up the shelter to play 'flight of the valkyrie' as it detects World War Three. You know from apocalypse now

32312 2002-01-22 05:36:00 You're ok dipstick 01. No need for a shelter. If they are using windows they'll miss you by miles. Guest (0)
32313 2002-01-22 06:08:00 The US Government gave up on the 'Star Wars' idea (supported by mad H-Bomb Teller and a brain-dead President Reagan) when they realised (i) that their X-Ray lasers were unlikely to work, and (ii) the software (estimated at 100M lines of code) was certain not to work.

Pity MS didn't learn from that experience (how many lines of code in WindowsXP, again?).

And if you live in New Zealand, watching your Microsoft windows defrag
program is more exciting than watching the free to air television stations
believe it or not..
