Download the same c. Learn how to do it,or d. Perhaps you could suggest a reference book where I could learn about it, as it sounds interesting. I entered Hosts into ME help, but nothing resulted. |

| 32471 | 2002-01-23 07:33:00 | yep right on the button john :) various sites have host file collections, just a matter of searching around a bit. collect them and add them together just in case someone missed one ;-) <paranoid> there are a few progs around whih make editing a host file easier eg hostess. one word of caution a host file may have an entry in it that cuts off a service you need such as antivirus updates. find the ofending entry and put a # in frount of it. the hard part is finding which entry is the one. with nortons check the error logs and it will tell you. |
