| 32714 | 2002-01-24 22:04:00 | I wish to back up my registry on a CD-R disk with Easy CD Creator.In PC World Nov 2000. page 106. in 'Backup Checklist it says.Select run. type Regedit. Select Registry. Export file.Select location.When I tried this I got a message to say 'I did not have permission to copy registry' ? I tried Start Easy CD Creator but I could only select from 'Explore' and registery is not Listed there. |

| 32715 | 2002-01-24 23:34:00 | Export the registry from Regedit like you mentioned, but save it somewhere on hour hard drive that you'll be able to find it (eg the desktop). Then burn this file onto CD. JM |
