| 32719 | 2002-01-24 21:42:00 | I work on a laptop all day and it gives me neck and shoulder problems. They sit too low on the desk and the screen is not at eye level.Has anyone seen something you can buy to sit the laptop on perhaps higher at the back so the screen sits better at eye level also? Thanks. | Guest (0) | ||

If you use your laptop at a desk all the time take a few measurements ie the height you want it lifted and got to a local cabinetmaker or even try it youself and get them to make up a small shelf/box to sit the laptop on. I have seen a few now and they are very effective. | Guest (0) | ||

The faster you deal with it the less long term damage you cause. Taking asprins and carrying on WILL lead to long term disability! For a really good bit of information on the correct operation of a computer have a read of the following: www.osh.dol.govt.nz (dol is the Dept of Labour). It's quite a big file, and you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, but it has some valuable information. |
