1288650 2012-07-15 23:17:00 Trying to install SuperAntiSpyware on a xp home system.
Security is blocking it for some reason.
System curently has MSSE as Antivirus & mbam as AntiSpyware.
There are other problems with the system.
There is only one user as admin.
Have also tryed in safe mode with same result.

Security warning is:

Windows has found a problem with this file.

SUPERAntispyware.exe

Unknown Publisher

This file was blocked because it does not have a valid digital signature etc

1288651 2012-07-15 23:32:00 Did you get it from the superantispyware site. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1288652 2012-07-15 23:39:00 Initially I did but have just got another install from filehipo & it went straight in.
Why would that be.
Would there be a problem with the superantispyware site.

1288653 2012-07-15 23:53:00 May have been a corrupt file or something Speedy Gonzales (78)
1288654 2012-07-16 00:06:00 The security status for the site may not be good and u said u already have mbam as antispyware so Im wondering u r trying to install similar software when already have one .that maybe why it belongs it . Maybe Nhashon (16466)
1288655 2012-07-16 00:21:00 I would think Speedy is right & it was probably a corrupt file or something of that nature.
I usually run both of those antispyware programes & they seem to be compatable.

MSSE is anti virus and you should only have one.

Mbam and super are anti malware and you should have more than one especially since Mbam isn't as good as it used to be
