1288457 2012-07-14 10:22:00 Hi Guys, been a while since i have posted here. 12 days a go I joined the ranks of mac users, loving it but... I use msn messenger heaps and for some reason i am really struggling to get it running on the mac. I have the latest version of iMac, have installed and reinstalled v8.0.1 man messenger etc etc. contacts i have are only showing as offline when i know they are online, i don't show as online to them. my friends are all windows users but surely they should still be showing online. I have googled the crap out of the problem and can't find a solution that works. I have tried all sorts, anyone out there who has had the same problems?

thanks in advance

1288458 2012-07-14 11:13:00 Sounds like a firewall/networking issue. Have you got any 3rd party firewalls installed? icow (15313)
1288459 2012-07-14 11:20:00 No Mac is stock standard. Have checked firewalls etc, no aftermarket security installed kiwimik (16839)
