1265924 2012-03-19 23:35:00 I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but I'm lazy and can't find any recent threads.

My question is, what's the general opinion of it? I've just started using it, mainly because I sometimes use my girlfriend's computer and she doesn't like me closing her browsers as she always have them connected and usually can't recall her passwords (oh, and she's not blonde!).

I quite like it and have started using it on my own computer instead of my favourite browser suite; Seamonkey.

Cheers

1265925 2012-03-19 23:36:00 I use it exclusively on the mac, and try to on windows machines that I have to use... plod (107)
1265926 2012-03-20 01:05:00 I use it a lot - not all the time - but much of it .

The biggest problem with Chrome (all variations of it too) are that I cannot get some streaming stations to run on it . It just sits there, looking like it's still loading and goes nowhere .

For when it works, it's fast and supposedly doesn't suck all the resources outta your computer . Whatever that means .

My favorite Chrome version is 'Canary Build' ( . google . com/dlpage/chromesxs" target="_blank">tools . google . com) . A warning though - although I've never had any troubles with it ----

Not for the faint of heart
Canary is designed for developers and early adopters, and can sometimes break down completely .

Nightly updates
Canary changes almost every day .

Side-by-side install
Run Canary and Chrome Stable at the same time .

1265927 2012-03-20 01:20:00 +1 for Chrome ... never had a problem with it.

SJ's problems probably relate to his credit card being maxed out .... Playboy online require payment BEFORE streaming starts .... :D

Me too, as far as Chrome goes. Except where forbidden by IT policy (mutter, mutter, I'll install Firefox then, mutter, mutter)
