1265156 2012-03-15 18:50:00 I see just before Facebook's IPO, like what they did to Google (www.searchenginejournal.com) - whom conceded by coming up with licencing agreements. One positive thing for Yahoo is a slight increase in search visitors from last month. (www.searchenginejournal.com) But hard to know if it's a slowly toppling empire, what with firing their CEO (www.reuters.com) (by phone), Founder Gerry Yang leaving, (www.pcworld.com) removing Geo cities, deleting 1000's (www.webpronews.com) of articles from their content network, shutting down their ever popular Yahoo Explorer (searchenginewatch.com) (for researchers/marketers), and now pondering what to do with Alibaba. (www.bloomberg.com) One of the giant's from the mid 90's, now seemingly fighting fires, with no real new properties to showcase. Well Flicker, Pipes, (pipes.yahoo.com) and Yahoo Answers...imagine if they vanished..more loss of enhanced visibility, other than for news about constantly reworking their current properties, and it seems their CEO's. kahawai chaser (3545)
