1288703 2012-07-19 22:16:00 Yeah by default the WLAN is turned off. What do you get for the IP of the WAN in Gargoyle? It should get one via DHCP?

WAN in Gargoyle: Connect via DHCP (Wired). The Current IP: is empty.

When it's connected to the Draytek, the LAN indicator doesn't light up. They are not communicating!

1288708 2012-07-19 23:26:00 That's odd. Cable is firmly plugged in?

Try and power cycle the DV120, give it a minute then power cycle the Gargoyle.

Also, try changing your LAN IP range to something quite different, just to be sure. Try 192.168.139.1, and go from there. Don't forge to renew the IP Address on your PC after doing that too :)

1288709 2012-07-19 23:43:00 Trying to change the LAN IP to 192.168.139.1 but it seems to take ages to complete the "Please Wait While settings Are Applied"! It's almost 10 minutes now!

Still waiting .... "Waiting for 192.168.139.1 "

Faulty unit? But, the TPLink's default firmware works OK.

1288710 2012-07-19 23:58:00 Restarting Draytek, Gargoyle, PC. Gargoyle's LAN IP has been changed to 192.168.139.1.

Changed another cable, but still cannot get them connected - the LAN on the Draytek and the WAN on the Gargoyle still don't light up.

If I connect the Draytek directly to my PC the LAN light straight away lights up. Something's not right.

1288711 2012-07-20 00:03:00 When you plug your PC then into the back of the Gargoyle, what IP Address does your PC get given? Chilling_Silence (9)
1288712 2012-07-20 00:17:00 I don't really get what you mean.

In command prompt, ipconfig/all shows that I am getting : 192.168.139.56 subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
