| 1265845 | 2012-06-13 07:45:00 | I saw it today (and scored a parking ticket to round off the experience). I enjoyed it (3D was nicely done). I'm not aware of any great plot holes, but I haven't had time to digest it yet. It was slower than 1&2, and when you think about it, it would be hard to spook an audience already familiar with the beast, and tough to repeat the action and adrenaline of #2, so why try to hit those highs again? It was really a story of our quest to understand our purpose... the meaning of life, and whether there's a god, or gods. Am I alone in thinking the android, David had a strong resemblance to Bishop from Aliens? All in all, a visual feast (despite little use of Charlise Theron :) ), but you can leave your adrenal gland and adult diapers at home, as neither will be called for. |
