| 1265206 | 2012-03-15 21:03:00 | "Defined by your sexuality" is such a nonsense phrase. What would that even mean if you're heterosexual? Isn't everyone in some sense defined by their sexuality? Depends if they are really hetrosexual or their views are shaped by theuir latent homosexuality or inability to deal with what apears to be a more commen then accepted human trait of arousel from both sexes, They way some people deal with these aspects of theuir lives can certainly shape them as a person and in an extreme cases define them. However, we are talking the thin edge of the wedge here, Your comment that "Isn't everyone in some sense defined by their sexuality?" is true but also a pointless statement, Some people are defined by their religion, And you could say that all people are in some sense defined by there views on religion but that is a long way from people who murder Doctors for performing abortians in the name of god. |

Look at the acts that were considered normal in NZ before colonisation. Hell, look at the acts performed during colonisation. |

Some people swing both ways, some only swing one way and the majority are heterosexual. It doesn't make any of them right or wrong just some like the ones who swing both ways and those who swing what is regraded as the wrong way do upset the majority me included as I can't imagine anything worse than going to bed with some hairy arsed bloke (or an Apple fanboy) |

Thank you all. |
