| 1265137 | 2012-03-16 03:30:00 | I was biking past near where it happened. Firstly cops came madly down the road with sirens and all, in about 30 or so seconds, 2 gunshots were heard. Man, was I wondering what happened. | ChazTheGeek (16619) | ||

| 1265141 | 2012-03-16 05:43:00 | The cowboy gun slingers had inferior weapons but more than likely had plenty of practice and luck. Western movies make it look easy. Revolvers, by design, are inherently more accurate than semi-automatics. Single action (cowboy) revolvers more so than modern double actions, fewer moving parts... |

| 1265145 | 2012-03-16 21:49:00 | I'm a little concerned to hear he was shot in the shoulder. The reason being that this was in a built up, heavily populated area, and you have to have concerns for where the bullets travel once behind the target (whether through the target or misses). If the guy was standing, then the shots were directed on a trajectory that could be hazardous to the general public. I'd like to think the first choice is to go for the area below the waist, so any misses hit the ground and lose a lot of energy (but could still go anywhere). Just my opinion. I've never fired anything more than an air rifle, and am keen to keep it that way. I'd hope the guy gets deported and can never swing a knife with that arm ever again. He should be dead if that is how he behaves. |
