| 1289626 | 2012-07-22 01:49:00 | You could try converting them with handbrake using one of the iPad profiles, if it needs a specific format that ought to work. I don't own any apple devices though so I wouldn't know for sure (I like the hardware but not the reliance on iTunes). |

In itunes, go to your ipad and click on the movies button. If you can see any of the movies listed in there you should be able to sync them. If they're not listed, they're not in the right format. Make sure you tick the "Sync Movies" checkbox and you can then click Sync button at the bottom to just transfer the movies over. |

| 1289630 | 2012-07-23 02:08:00 | I'd skip the conversion of formats and pissing around in iTunes. Get goodplayer for offline playback, and/or plex for at home. PLex will present it all nicely and transcode in the format the ipad (and any other plex including PC, iphone, android, samsung tvs) wants. |
