| 1265045 | 2012-03-16 09:52:00 | The Jewel Box is easy to find: its just 1 degree southeast of beta Crucis, the second brightest star of the Southern Cross. Coordinates are RA 12h54m, Dec -60d21m
this is the deep-southern sky. www.oneminuteastronomer.com |

| 1265046 | 2012-03-16 21:38:00 | Just remember to point it at the sky...not at the window of the home next door where that lovely blond lives!!! Ken :banana A former workmate who sold scopes in Germany commented that it was very common for the buyers of astronomical telescopes to return to buy an 'inverter' so that they could apply it to errr more terrestrial applications as Ken has suggested. Draw your curtains folks, you never know who's looking. For every house you can see out you window is another household where people could be looking back... with a camera attached... and an internet feed... |

They are also none as the seven sisters because people with good eyesight can make out seven stars. Put your telescope on them and there are about 100 stars. :) |
