1264893 2012-03-14 23:36:00 I read the library books either on my netbook or the tablet depends on which is available for me to use at the time gary67 (56)
1264894 2012-03-14 23:56:00 Do you use Calibre Gary? You can download plugins for Calibre that are (ahem) helpful for vacuuming up dust in your e-reader. Dust like DRM. John H (8)
1264895 2012-03-15 00:21:00 I do have it but at the moment just using Adobe digital editions on the netbook however on the tablet it has to be the overdrive media reader gary67 (56)
1264896 2012-03-15 01:21:00 Which is one of the reasons I didn't even look at a Kindle, and chose a Sony PRS-T1 instead.

How to lose sales? Just place restrictions on what the owner can use the product for... So short-sighted.

AFAIK some of the blame lies with Publishers who have their own issues with Amazon and the concept of extending their existing library deals. It's not as if all ePUB titles are available to libraries.

Yes, I have Adobe on my Samsung (a 'free gift' with our new TV), but I hardly use that cos it is too small. I use Calibre instead on the Sony PRS-T1. I must look into Overdrive and see if it has any advantages.

1264898 2012-03-15 04:06:00 I have just started switching my magazine subs to Zinio as they run out too, instead of cutting down more trees for paper copies that I read and then usually give away gary67 (56)
