1264863 2012-03-14 04:19:00 I won't even go shopping with my SWMBO. I prefer to take a list, get in and go straight for what is needed then get out. SWMBO has no written list but makes it up as she goes along.:illogical She will spend a good hour just buying the groceries! I prefer to sit in the car and read a book, or better still, stay at home.

But I must agree. It does sound an excellent idea!

1264864 2012-03-14 04:31:00 Sorry, other way round in our house.
Food shopping, I take a list and get what's on it and that's it. Leave quickly. The few times he's tried food shopping he takes forever and arrives home either with something else or nothing because he couldn't find it.

Other shopping - to be avoided, best done online.
If necessary to actually go into a building to buy things, then head straight for item, get item, pay and go home.

Him on the other hand, takes 10 years to get there, another 50 fluffing around perusing items, 50 to fluff around looking at other unrelated items, and then another 10 years buying it and leaving. Nope. We try not to shop together alright.

Good things take time ... men only shop for high value items that we wouldn't let our women buy because they'd only get the wrong one ...
