| 33506 | 2002-01-30 04:56:00 | hey, i have a few problems i hope you can help with. 1. When i shutdown my computer it just stalls on the 'Windows is shutting down' screen. I know there has been a post about this problem before. 2. when i start-up my computer it comes up with a box saying something along the lines of 'Something is wrong in your registry, please press Enter to enter the registry editor' then i go into the registry editor and it backs up system files, then says 'you have a good registry' then i gotta restart the comp again. Any help would be great thanks. Im running Windows 98. Thanks -RebelQuaker |

Go to www.microsoft.com and on the left will be the link to their update site. Follow the directions to update and it should go a long way to fixing the problem. I also recommend a little program called regclean which you can find in the downloads section of this site...on the left. | Guest (0) | ||
